A brutal rejection turns a sensitive artist who lives solely on oranges into a disturbed recluse. He learns to turn pain into power, burying six men and women to their necks in sand, torturing them and converting their pain to electricity which powers his orange manufacturing machine. When ‘One’ of the six leads a revolt, they take control of the machine, replacing themselves with their oppressor and sharing the fruit until they realise they need more. One convinces the slaves to return to the sand and produce for the people until he is left to devour the fruits of their labour alone.
